A GRAND AFFAIR

Our Spotted Dog Appeal raised a brilliant £1,000 for the cause! Special thanks to Andrew L, Joyce Q, Jane L, Karen W, Paul K, Susan M, David McV, and Claire T for generosity beyond the call of duty.

BENEFIT GIG

We’ll be hosting our annual Benefit Gig at the Red House (top of Upton Avenue on the junction with Upton Lane, almost opposite The Old Spotted Dog) on Friday November 13^th – don’t let the date put you off; it’ll be the usual mix of music, drinkies, unforced social bonhomie, and the inevitable raffle. 8.00 pm – ish.

Performers will include Dorten Yonder, Chris Tymkow, John Beard, Mike Edmonds and Friends – with a promise of consensual sax; the pillow talk is down to you.

Featured Artistes: Funky Pluckers (more ukuleles than is strictly decent in a public space) and John Ellis (singer/songwriter/guitar maestro).

In advance £7.50 via the “donate” button on the Dog website ( www.savethespotteddog.org ) will get you on our ‘honoured guests and distinguished visitors’ list or alternatively £10 in filthy lucre on the door will be most gratefully received.
